Dholahiti Holi Murder: Knife stabber with criminal background

Kathmandu: The person, involved in the murder on the day of Fagu Purnima, has been identified as a person with criminal background.

The investigation revealed that the person involved in the murder of 2 youths in Dholahiti, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-26. Two groups of youths charged knives at each other which resulted in the death of 2 youths.

The murderer is a hotelier. Nepal Police have claimed the hotelier was behind the knife stabbing. He was found guilty in a drug case and was imprisoned for 2 years.

Both the groups were having snacks, after celebrating Holi, in ‘D Popina Khaja Ghar‘ in Dholahiti on Sunday. They were drinking alcohol. The two groups stabbed each other with a knife.

Two youths lost their life in the incident. Robas Rai and Pujan Rai, who died in the incident, belonged to two separate groups. Police arrested 18 people during the investigation of the case.
