Ashok Rai: Before going to US, Upendra Yadav signed circular which created explosive situation

Kathmandu: Leader Ashok Rai, who formed the Janata Samajwadi Party by splitting the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, has said that the circular issued by Chairperson Upendra Yadav before departing for the US made the environment explosive.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Leader Rai said, ‘He issued a circular before departing for America. That circular made the situation explosive.’

According to Leader Rai, Chairperson Yadav needed to reach the airport at 6 p.m. but a meeting was called at 3 p.m. on the day of his departure. After the decision, Chairperson Yadav signed the circular and departed.

Similarly, Rai said that 8 members, out of 18 executive members, were present while making the decision.

’10 people were absent. But, he departed announcing it as the decision. There are questions about why we did it secretly. He created an environment and just went, ‘said Rai,’That environment became the coincidence.’ He said that the circular gave birth to the reactions nationwide.

Rai claimed that Chairperson Yadav was attempting to convey the message that JSP was run by him and there was no need for other leaders. He accused Chairperson Yadav of having a problem with his working style.

‘Absence of transparency. No discussions or suggestions between the leaders. These matters were there. These matters had increased the dissatisfaction. It was peaking, ‘ said Rai.

Rai accused Chairperson Yadav of attempting to keep the party in his fist. He said that there were no agendas during the official meetings but agendas and decisions used to pop up from th diary.
