17th International Industrial Trade Fair at Bhrikutimandap (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The 17th International Industrial Trade Fair and Home Industry Fair is going on at Bhrikutimandap.

President Ram Chandra Paudel inaugurated the fair on Wednesday.

The main attraction of the fair is to exhibit the items produced by the small and cottage industries, and local entrepreneurs, and promote the original products dispersed in the various areas.  A different pavilion has been allocated for women entrepreneurs to exhibit their products.

Likewise, the fair contains a separate pavilion for organic agriculture products. The fair also incorporates appropriate and innovative technologies.

International products, produced in SAARC countries and China, have been kept in the fair. There are 250 stalls at the fair. The 5th National Honey Fair is also going on. The fair will run till 12 May ( Baishak 30).
