Grand welcome to Qatar’s King at Tribhuvan International Airport (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Qatar’s King Sheikh Tamim bin Hammad Al Thani has arrived in Kathmandu.

Qatari King Thani arrived in Kathmandu for 2-day official visit. He came at the friendly invitation of President Ram Chandra Paudel.

He was welcomed by President Paudel in a special room at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Likewise, Vice President Ram Sahay, Prasad, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Deputy Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Deputy Prime Minister and Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Raghubir Mahaseth, cabinet members, high ranking officials, head of diplomatic missions, representatives had reached the airport to welcome Qatari King Thani.

He arrived in Kathmandu after the completion of his official visit to Bangladesh. On the occasion, the Nepali Army offered a 21-gun salute in honor of the Emir of Qatar. He will hold a meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel at Sheetal Niwas today.

In honor of King Amir President Paudel will host a night dinner.
