NC obstructs parliamentary meeting

Kathmandu: The main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has obstructed the parliamentary meeting.

They obstructed the meeting by chanting slogans demanding the formation of a high-level parliamentary inquiry committee against the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister on Friday.

NC members of parliament chanted the slogans ‘ Form Parliamentary Inquiry Committee’ ‘Give justice to cooperative victims.

Earlier, NC General Secretary Gagan Thapa said that the house session would not proceed until the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee. Speaker Devraj Ghimire adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes after NC encircled the well of the house.
