Speaker Ghimire’s meeting inconclusive

Kathmandu: The meeting held by Speaker Devraj Ghimire has been inconclusive.

The meeting was inconclusive, before the meeting of the House of Representatives. Speaker Ghimire discussed with the Chief Whip and Whip in 2 stages on Friday, before the start of the parliament convention

Speaker Secretariat said that the Nepali Congress would allowed to read the letter received from the President’s office and to keep their views in the meeting.  The Secretariat said that NC didn’t show consent on the top leader’s speaking program and on the day to enter the regular agenda.

Speaker Ghimire helds one to one meeting with leaders

After the meeting was indecisive, leaders went to discuss with their respective party top leaders. After that the meeting will be resumed said Secretariat. Then the meeting of working arrangement would start.

President Ram Chandra Paudel called for the parliament convention from today. However, NC demanded to form a parliamentary inquiry committee against the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in a cooperative embezzlement case.

However, the ruling party has rejected the NC demands, whereas NC prepared to obstruct the house session, until their demands are not met.
