‘Aakash ko Bato’ at Mandala Theatre (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The staging of the drama ‘Aakash Ko Bato’ has begun on 15th March (Chaitra 2) at Mandala Theatre, Thapagaun.

The students of Mandala Theatre Lab’s 13th batch have acted in the drama. Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary has written and directed the drama.

‘Aakash Ko Bato’ is based on the realistic scenario of Nepali society. The drama reflects the widespread problems of unemployment and economic shortage in Nepali society, which is compelling the youths to go abroad via air.

The drama shows how the brain drain is becoming a culture of Nepali society. And the drama also shows the impact and change in the society.

Sohit Rawal, Shushan Basnet, Samsasti Rai, Pramila Rai, Melina Chamling Rai, Aakriti K.C, Jharna Chokal, Bipina Basnet, Diya Dumi Rai, Krishna Gurung, Kohinoor Bishwakarma, Manjil Shrestha, Deepak Shrestha, Vijaya Tamang, Man Bahadur Hirang, Sampang Rai, Shushant Panta, Jeevan Thakur, Prabin Tamang, Rabin Shashankar, Manoj K.C, Mukesh Pandey, Prabat Angbo Limbu, and Sitak Wagle are the actors.

The drama is being staged at Mandala Studio. The staging of the drama will conclude on 31st March (Chaitra 18).

Except for Monday, the drama will be staged every day at 4:00 p.m. There is also an additional show on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
