CAN take Bolero jeep to welcome West Indies ‘A’players, criticized for doing shameful act

Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN)’s welcome gesture to West Indies ‘A’ players has been criticized.

West Indies ‘A’ arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday, to play the T-20 series starting from 27 April 2024 (Baishak 15, 2081). There was criticism that the Bolero jeep was taken during the welcoming of the West Indies players.

The arrangement of players’ luggage and cricket kit was done in a Bolero jeep. The picture and video have become viral on social media resulting the questions raised in CAN’s management. CAN has been criticized on social media.

Likewise, social users have been raising questions about Minister of Sports Biraj Bhakta Shrestha.

The first match between West Indies ‘A’ and Nepal will be played on 27 April (Baishak 15) at Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground (TU). Second game on 28 April (Baishak 16) . Third on 1 May (Baishak 19) and  Final on 4 May (Baishak 22).
