Singh who claimed to be tortured by police, found to consume more cetamol

Kathmandu: It has been found that Ganesh Man Singh resident of Jajarkot who claimed to be unnecessarily tortured by the Nepal Cyber Bureau consumed medicine.

He was admitted to Bir Hospital on 24 April (Baishakh 12), after consuming medicine. After being referred from Bir Hospital, Singh’s treatment is underway in the ICU at Kiritipur Hospital.

Likewise, He claimed that the police threatened to imprison him for commenting on the Minister of Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane’s Facebook page as’ Cooperative Corrupt’.

In a video shared on Facebook Singh said ‘I consumed medicine after being threatened’. However, hospital reports, showed that Singh consumed paracetamol. Police said that he consumed more paracetamol at one time.
