Home Minister Lamichhane transfers 6 Senior Superintendent Police

Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has transferred 6 Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).

Minister Lamichhane transferred 6SSP, while Inspector General of Police IGP Basanta Kunwar is out of the country. AIG Kunwar has gone to France, to participate in the General Assembly of INTERPOL.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Source, the transfer decision was made after the departure of AIG Kunwar. Kathmandu District Policer Range SSP Bhupendra Khatri has been transferred to the Department of Crime Investigation.

Likewise, Basanta Rajourey has been given the responsibility of Kathmandu’s head, who was in the department. Valley Crime Investigation Office SSP Simendra Singh Rathore transferred to the National Security Council, Sanuram Bhattarai who was in the Council came in place of Rathore in the Crime Investigation Office.

Police Headquarters Training Directorate, SSP Abhay Narayan Kafle has also been transferred. He has been transferred to the Koshi Province Training Directorate. SSP Ranjan Adhikari who was in Koshi brought in training directorate headquarters in place of Kafle.
