Speaker Ghimire calls PM Dahal and top leaders of major political parties for discussion

Kathmandu: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has decided to discuss with the top leaders of the major parties.

The discussion has been scheduled to be held in Singhadurbar on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Speaker Ghimire’s Press Advisor Shekhar Adhikari said that the Speaker was attempting to make the top leaders agree upon dissatisfactory points before the beginning of the upcoming house session.

Speaker Ghimire called Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chairperson K.P. Sharma Oli, Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, and Ratsriya Prajatantra Party Chairperson Rajendra Lingden.

Nepali Congress continuously obstructed the last house sessions demanding the formation of a high-level probe committee to investigate the involvement of the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the cooperative savings embezzlement case.
