6 months of Israel-Hamas conflict

Kathmandu: More than 1 million public have demonstrated against Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Millions of people demanded to release of the hostages held by Hamas. According to BBC, the opposition chanted slogans against the government, in demand of Gaza’s hostage agreement.

The public has been outraged after the deceased body of 1 hostage was found by the Israeli army. The public has demonstrated in the main cities, including the capital, saying the government is not paying attention to releasing the hostages.

Demonstrators demanded to negotiate with Gaza to release of remaining hostages and maintain peace. Palestinian militant group Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 and took 2 hundred and 53 hostages.  Among 2 hundred and 53, 1 hundred 24 hostages have been released.

The conflict between Hamas and Israel completes 6 months on Sunday. Both nations are prepared to mourn over the 6 months of the war.

Likewise, more than 33, 100 people have been killed in Gaza, by the Israel Military’s attack in the past 6 months. The negotiation which resumed after 1-week long ceasefire in November, led to no progress.
