Lalitpur Forest Fire: One injured person dies

Kathmandu: One person has died, who was injured while extinguishing the fire in Godavari Municipality -4 Badikhel forest, Lalitpur.

Lalitpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Naresh Raj Subedi said that injured Shankar Pahari died during treatment at Nepal Cleft and Burn Center, Kritipur. Pahari and Ramesh Pahari were injured while extinguishing the fire on Tuesday.

The patients of the Ananda Leprosy Hospital have been shifted after the spread of fire at Ananda Forest, Godavari Muncipality-6, Lalitpur. About 90 patients have been shifted to Bajrawahari Primary Health Care Centre and other health posts.
