Minister Pun: Nepal best destination for International Investment

Kathmandu: Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has said that Nepal is the best destination for Investment.

Addressing the inauguration of the 3rd International Investment Conference on Sunday, Minister Finance Pun made those statements. Minister Pun, who is also Vice Chairperson of the investment Board said that the main objective of the conference was to present Nepal as a destination.

He said that the purpose of the conference was to inform about recent reforms in the regulatory sector to promote foreign and domestic investment in Nepal and to exhibit detailed projects of various sectors including projects that are ready for investment.

Likewise, Minister Pun, said he believes that there would be many agreements and understanding between investors and stakeholders as well as an agreement related to project development and management. He said that the economic indicators of Nepal becoming stable  and positive, recently achieved important achievements in the filed of clean, energy, tourism, information technology, agriculture and agriculture based industries.
