By-election preparation in full swing

Kathmandu: The preparation for the upcoming by-election has been in full swing.

Preparation is in full swing for the upcoming by-election to be held in Illam-2 and Bajhang on Saturday. Police would deploy 1, 024 manpower in the by-election.

Centre Police Spokesperson Bhim Prasad Dhakal said that the polling station has been classified into 3 categories normal, sensitive, and highly sensitive through arrangement of security.

According to Spokesperson Dhakal, 71 polling stations are normal, 41 as sensitive, and 37 as highly sensitive in Illam, As per sensitive 1thousand 3 hundred and  63 manpower would be deployed.

Likewise, 31 as normal, and 30 as sensitive polling stations were classified. 32 are highly sensitive, 1thousand and 24 manpower would be deployed in Bajhang.

Police would use force in case of violence, destruction, and unwanted activities information received at the polling stations or damaged in ballot boxes, ballot papers caused by fights between different parties.
