India response reality of border would not be change, if Nepal include pointed map in note of 100 rupee

Kathmandu: India has responded to the decision of Nepal’s cabinet to change the map of Nepal printed in the background of the front part of the 100 rupee note.

The recent cabinet meeting decided to replace the old map with the revised political map.

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar commented that Nepal was attempting to proceed singularly in the matter of border management. Dr. Jaishankar said New Delhi has a clear opinion and Nepal took a unilateral decision regarding the border issue.

Likewise, he said the step in Nepal was an attempt to change the ground reality at a time when the negotiation about the border issue was going on.

According to Indian media NDTV, Dr. Jaishankar said that work done on behalf of Nepal couldn’t change the ground reality between the 2 countries and the situations. He also said that the decision of the Nepal government couldn’t cover the reality of the border between 2 countries.
