Japanese Foreign Minister Kamikawa Yoko arrives in Kathmandu (Photos)

Kathmandu: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Kamikawa Yoko has arrived in Nepal.

Foreign Minister Yoko arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Joint Secretary Sewa Lamsal welcomed Minister Yoko at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she will pay a courtesy call to President Ram Chandra Paudel, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and Deputy Minister and Minster of Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

Foreign Minister Shrestha invited his counterpart on an official visit to Nepal.

This is the first visit of Minister Yoko to Nepal after being appointed as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. After completing her official meetings, she will be departing for Japan today.
