3 Ministries to be from CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN(Unified Socialist) in Madhesh Province

Kathmandu: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav has prepared to expand the cabinet.

Chief Minister Yadav took a vote of confidence for 4th time from the provincial assembly on 16 April 2024 (Baisakh 4, 2081), preparing to expand the cabinet.

Likewise, the cabinet of ministers is preparing to be expanded by giving Loktantrik Samajwadi Party and Janmat Party’s vacant ministries to CPN(Maoist Centre) and CPN (Unified Socialist).

According to Chief Minister’s Press Coordinator Atish Mishra, the cabinet is to be expanded by adding  3 ministers including 2 from the CPN(Maoist Centre) and 1 from the CPN(Unified Socialist).  He said that preparations are being made to take an oath of 3ministers.

CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Bharat Prasad Shah elected from the Mahottari Constituency No. (2), another CPN(Maoist Centre) MP Yuvraj Bhattarai elected from Rautahat Constituency No. 4(2), and CPN (Unified Socialist) Bechi Lungeli elected from Sarlahi Constituency 1(2), were ministries to be.

Similarly, Chief Minister Secretariat said that 3 would be sworn in as non-departmental ministers today, and would be assigned ministry responsibilities later.
