PM Dahal: If some party feels completely isolated, stability cannot be achieved

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said there is no alternative for political parties to move forward other than uniting.

Addressing a discussion program entitled ‘Challenges of Good Governance and Future Direction of Government’ on Tuesday, PM Dahal commented upon the unity among political parties.

PM Dahal said, ‘Political parties must unite to move forward unless political stability could not be achieved.’ He said that he has been emphasizing the same belief after becoming the prime minister.

Remembering his previous tenure as Prime Minister, with the support of CPN (UML), PM Dahal said, ‘I have proposed President for Nepali Congress at that time as there was need of unity among everyone to move ahead, there must be a national agreement.’

Similarly, he said that political stability could not be achieved if big parties start to feel completely isolated. ‘NC, which is the largest party. I tried to give President to the party, not to make it feel isolated, ‘ said PM Dahal, ‘The circumstances started to change. But the situation is in the right place.’
