National Horticulture Expo 2080 begins at Bhirkutimandap (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: National Horticulture Expo 2080 has begun at Bhirkutimandap.

The fair begun on Friday, with the slogan ‘Development and Expansion of Nursery, Business, Clean Environment, Income and Employment’. It began from 29 March (Chaitra 16) and will conclude on 1 April (Chaitra 19).

More than 700 species of plants from flower nurseries, fruit nurseries, agricultural forest nurseries and herb nurseries from all over the country have been placed for the exhibition and sale.

Likewise, stalls of fertilizers, organic and chemical pesticides, seeding tools and techniques have also been kept. In the fair total 88 stalls from 74 business stalls, 2 food stalls, 7 official stalls and 5 stalls for competition have been installed.

Similarly, the entry fee for the general public to visit the fair is Rupees 100 per person, but for the students and senior citizens it is Rupees 50.
