Meeting between three major parties before HoR session

Kathmandu: The heads and officials of three major political parties are holding a meeting in Baluwataar.

The leaders from CPN (UML), Nepali Congress, and CPN (Maoist) held the meeting before the beginning of the House of Representatives (HoR) session at 1 pm today.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Chairperson of CPN(UML) KP Sharma Oli would be part of the meeting. Vice leaders and chief whips of the three parties would also attend the meeting.

Their discussion will be focused on the obstruction created by the UML demanding the formation of a high-level inquiry committee regarding the gold smuggling scandal.
