Swimming Pool to Beat Scorching Heat (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The rising temperature of the Kathmandu valley has increased crowds in the swimming pool. The number of children and adults visiting swimming pools is increasing every day. People have been choosing a swimming pool as an option to beat the scorching heat.

The temperature across the nation has been increasing rapidly due to a lack of rainfall for weeks. And the capital is no exception. Hot air (loo) has also affected various parts of the Terai region. Schools have been closed unless the issuance of further notice in such regions.

The schools in the capital have also started taking students to the nearest swimming pool. The swimming pools are getting crowded with the presence of such students for a few weeks.

Bhairab Chhetri, the Nobel Indoor Swimming Pool owner, said that around 300 students have been visiting the swimming pool daily.

The number even increases on Saturday. Chandra said that more than 500 people have been visiting his swimming pool daily due to the increasing temperature.’
