Govt. to begin branding water under ‘Water from the Himalayas’ program

Kathmandu: The government has announced to begin the process of branding the water from the Himalayas.
Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, announced the branding procedure while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2023-24.
The government has decided to begin the ‘Water from the Himalayas’ program for the branding.
Mahat said that the government would facilitate the laws for exporting mineral waters from the Himalayas to foreign countries. He said that it was a good opportunity for Nepal to earn foreign currencies by exporting water from the Himalayas.
