Nepali Ambassador Shankar and Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar discusses the preparation for PM Dahal’s visit

Kathmandu: Ambassador of Nepal to India Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma and External Affairs Minister of India S Jaishankar has held a meeting for discussing the preparation for the upcoming India visit of Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

Ambassador Sharma and Minister Jaishankar discussed the India visit of PM Dahal, which would take place just after delivering the budget presentation in the Federal Parliament, in Delhi.

Ambassador Sharma tweeted about the meeting. Both discussed strengthening the bilateral relationships between the two nations.

 

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal had coordinated with the foreign ministry of India for the visit of PM Dahal. Both nations have agreed upon the proposed date for Dahal’s India visit

The schedule of PM Dahal includes the meeting with PM Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi on Jestha 18 (1st June ) in Hyderabad House New Delhi.

Although the India Visit was scheduled for the Baisakh (April), it was postponed at the last moment. Then, the Indian election and budget-related works in Nepal further postponed the visit.

PM Dahal would be visiting India between Jestha 17 and 20 (May 31st-3rd June).
