Israel’s PM Netanyahu: Would reject any sanctions over country’s military

Kathmandu: Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he would reject any sanctions over the country’s military.

PM Netanyahu made those statements after the reports US cutting aid to Israel’s military. According to the Axios news website, US would target Israel’s Netzah Yehuda Battalion for violating human rights in the West Bank.

Previously, the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken inquired about the alleged human rights violation in the West Bank. The US is the main supporter of Israel. However, It has not suspended an Israel Defense Force (IDF) unit.

Likewise, Israel’s military denies the allegation against Netzah Yehuda by saying the battalion was operating under international law.
