CPN(UML) Dr. Shakya nominated as NA member

Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has nominated Dr. Anjan Shakya as a member of the National Assembly based on the recommendation of the government.

President Paudel nominated Dr. Shakya to the post by Article 86 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, reads a press release issued on Thursday, by the Office of the President.

Government recommends CPN(UML) Anjan Shakya as member of NA

Likewise, the cabinet meeting held on April 12 had recommended before the President to nominate Dr. Shakya to the vacant post of the NA member.
