Salyan Bus Accident Update: Seriously injured passengers taken to Kohalpur for treatment

Kathmandu: 4 seriously injured passengers of a bus, that met with an accident in Salyan on Wednesday, have been sent to Kohalpur, Banke for further treatment.

According to Police Inspector Naveen Thapa Magar, Bishnu BK (46-year-old) of Tulispur Sub Metropolitan City -4, Chitra Pun(22) of Rukum Triveni Rural Municipality -2, Ramesh Pun Magar (6), and Krishna Chaudhary (29) of Tulsipur-19 Bijauri have been sent to Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur for treatment.

Police Inspector Magar said that all 4 injured were referred to Kohalpur after first aid treatment. The treatment of the other 10 injured passengers is going on at Tharmare Primary Health Centre and Local Poly Clinic.

The bus, going from Ghorahi to Rukum, met with an accident on the bridge of Thinbang Khola, Bagchaur Municipality – 2.

Total 22 people were injured in the accident. Among the injured ones, the health condition of 8 passengers is normal, and returned to their homes after the accident.

Previously Police made the details of 14 injured passengers public. It is assumed that the bus might have gone out of control.
