Police arrest ANFA Vice President Dawa Lama

Kathmandu: Police have arrested All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Vice President Dawa Lama.

Kathmandu Valley Police Office AIG Deepak Thapa said that the team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation arrested Lama on Wednesday, who was absconding in a drug case.

Patan High Court sentenced Lama to 5 years imprisonment on 19 May 2007 (Jestha 5, 2064) in charge of involvement in the sale of brown heroin drugs. But he absconded without paying his bail and was even on the ANFA executive committee.

Likewise, he became ANFA Vice President. According to the Police, Lama was presented in the Court.
