Nepal defeats Malaysia by 5 wickets 

Kathmandu: Nepal has defeated Malaysia in the third match of the ACC Premier Cup. 

Nepal defeated Malaysia by 5 wickets in Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket on Friday. Nepal chased the target of 144 runs in 19.2 overs with a loss of 5 wickets. 

Aasif Sheikh scored 32, Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel 28, Kushal Bhuretl 24, and Dipendra Sigh Airee 20 runs for the team. Gulshan Jha was unbeaten in 19 runs and Sundeep Jora was unbeaten in 12 runs. Kushal Malla scored 7 runs for the team. 

Virandeep Singh took 3 wickets for Malaysia.  

In the first innings, Malaysia scored 143 runs playing all 20 overs with the loss of 3 wickets. 

Captain Virandeep Singh scored a half-century for the team. He was unbeaten at 72 runs. He hit 4 boundaries and 4 sixes for the team. Sharon Muniandy scored 41 runs for the team. 

Dipendra Singh AIree took 2 and Abinash Boor 1 wicket for Nepal.  Now, Nepal will compete against Qatar on Saturday.
