Kathmandu: The staging of the drama ‘Samayako Pida’ is going on in Ojas Theatre, Ratopul.

The drama presents the harsh reality of the Nepali society. ‘Samaya ko Pida’ expresses the pain of the parents whose children emigrate for study and employment but don’t return to their homeland.

The drama is based on the story of Litterateur Padyavati Singh’s ‘Samaya ko Pida.’This story is also in the curriculum of Class 9.

The drama began on Magh 11 (January 25). The timing of the drama has been set during school time. Ojas Theatre has scheduled a show at 1:30 p.m., for regular audiences, on Saturday.

The concept and direction of the drama is of Sundar Dhital. Bishal Devkota, Sangita Thapa, Arjun Dulal, Anjana Rijal, Unnat Upreti, Sagun Pokharel, Rohit Shrestha, Purna Gandharva, Nabin Pyakurel, Kapil Deep Kafle, and Bipin Jaiswal have acted in the drama.

The last show of ‘Samaya Ko Pida’ is on Magh 22 (February 5).
