RPP Chairperson Lamichhane clarifies accusation of 18 million rupees

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has clarified the accusation of misusing the cash of cooperative depositors.

Chairperson Lamichhane, in a press conference in the RSP Party Office on Monday, said that 18 million (1 crore 80 lakh) was not deposited in his account.

The Kantipur Daily had published news that the RPP Chairperson Lamichhane took a loan from Supreme Cooperative and deposited it in Gorkha Media’s account to purchase a 15% share of Galaxy. The news mentioned that Gorkha media deposited 18 million (1 crore 80 lakhs) in Lamichhane’s account when he left the TV.
