Rabi Lamichhane: Aim of political party must not shift from election to election

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has said that the aim of a political party must not shift from one election to another.

Chairperson Lamichhane shared his opinion regarding the focus of political parties while addressing the policy brainstorming program on Monday. He said that political parties must focus from one party to another rather than focusing on elections.

Similarly, Chairperson Lamichhane said that their party was also on the radar of prediction as the thoughts, and expressions were not coming clearly like other political parties. He said despite the contextual satire toward some leaders in the changing political scenario, no one has the strength to devaluate their courage and planning. Lamichhane said that it was not their aim to depreciate change.

‘Political parties must focus from one generation to another rather than focusing on elections. Sometimes, when the thoughts and expressions become unclear, predictions are affected, ‘ said Lamichhane, ‘And in the flow of doubts, even we are kept within the boundaries of several predictions. Sometimes there are contextual satires toward the leaders, but there is no planning for devaluing their contributions. It was not aimed to depreciate change.’

Chairperson Lamichhane said that old parties were still acting in a monarchial way and RSP was gradually in the process of learning and understanding. He said that the problems were arising due to the lack of democracy inside the party despite the change in the shift of the system in the nation.
