MP Dhawal: Action must be taken against people inciting misleading news

Kathmandu: Member of Parliament (MP) Dhawal Samsher Jabara has requested to take action against the person inciting religious harmony under cybercrime.

MP Dhawal talked about the rally while addressing the parliament during the emergency time on Tuesday. He said that people conveying misleading messages to incite the two religious communities on social media platforms must be punished.

Similarly, MP Dhawal appealed to control such actions there were chances of riots. He demanded to immediately implement the cybercrime law and take action against the culprits.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) MP informed the house regarding the curfew in Nepalgunj and requested the government to implement the law. He said, ‘A curfew has been imposed after a skirmish between two religious communities. Such incidents must be controlled whether it’s in Terai or any part of Nepal. The root of such incidents is networks of mobile. This must be controlled by cybercrime. Whether it’s related to cow slaughtering or Hindu-Muslim skirmish.’

MP Dhawal said that one can peacefully present dissatisfaction but not furiously.
