Bishwo Prakash: Why disbelief in CIB?

Kathmandu: General Secretary of Nepali Congress Bishwa Prakash Sharma has questioned the formation of the reason behind UML’s doubt over CIB.

Sharma questioned while speaking in the ongoing House of Representatives meeting. He said that the institutions established under the constitution and laws should not be distrusted.

Sharma said, ‘The constitution has been formed for years. It has been years since democracy has been established. But, why do we still have no belief in the organizations, that are formed under the constitution and law? Is this the disbelief over CIB? or the Police? With this, what kind of society are we visioning?’

He said that the government seized the gold at the airport. He said, ‘One hand of the government loosened the hand, the other hand grabbed it. We should understand the matter in this way.’

CPN (UML) had demanded the formation of a high-level inquiry committee in the gold scandal.
