Temperature reach 40 degree celsius in Tarai

Kathmandu: Heat has increased in most places of Tarai, Lumbini, Madhesh, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the temperature has been increasing all over the country. For the past few days, temperatures above 40 degrees celsius have been recorded in most of the Terai region.

The temperature of Biratnagar, Janakpur, Simraha, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Dhandagi, and other cities has reached 40 degrees. Due to scorching heat and hot winds, weakness, excessive thirst, headache, leg cramps, fainting, vomiting, and other symptoms are seen.

Likewise, the health workers suggest staying at home during summer to save from hot air. Experts also suggest drinking plenty of water, and soft drinks during summer.

Due to the heat increase, the movement of people in the city has started to decline.
