Home Minister Lamichhane: Will confiscate assets of cooperative scammers

Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has said that the assets of cooperative scammers would be confiscated and be paid to depositors.

Addressing an election rally held in Illam-2 on Tuesday, Minister Lamichhane said that he informed about the matter to PM Dahal.

‘ Soon by bringing policies, and making necessary amendments in the law, the assets of those who escaped from the cooperative will be frozen and will start work of paying to depositors by selling assets.’ said Minister Lamichhane.

Likewise, Lamichhane expressed his determination to break the encirclement of old parties.
