Finance Ministry: We are writing a budget, please do not disturb

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance has requested not to crowd the Ministry.

The Ministry requested not to crowd as the writing budget draft starts for the upcoming financial year 2081/ 2082. The Ministry also requested stakeholders to give suggestions through email if they have any suggestions regarding the budget.

Similarly,  the Ministry Spokesperson and Joint Secretary Uttar Kumar Khatri have requested budget-related Stakeholders to arrange the time, before visiting.  The ministry said that the format of the physical meeting has been changed, due to the employees, and ministers’ participation in making budgeting.

Likewise, the budget drafting committee led by Joint Secretary Dhaniram Sharma has begun. Joint Secretaries Ritesh Kumar Shakya, Mahesh Acharya, Ram Prasad Acharya, Ishwari Aryal, and Parvati Sharma are busy with budget writing. It has requested employees to avoid unnecessary crowding, as they are busy in writing the budget from morning till late night.

According to the Constitution, there is a mandatory provision to present the budget every year on the day of Republic Day on 29 May (Jestha 15).
