Another attraction of the Chandragiri Hills is the Bhaleshwor Temple of Lord Shiva. There is also a sculpture of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, which adds historical importance to the place. Chandragiri Hills is located in the South-West of Kathmandu and lies at 2551 meters.

Choosing a cable car to reach the hills makes the journey even more enjoyable. A total of thirty-six cable cars have been operating to connect the Thankot base station and the top station in the hills. The ride completes within 9-12 minutes.
