5 people arrested for helping Tibetans gain Nepali Citizenship

Kathmandu: Police have arrested 5 people for helping Tibetan refugees in obtaining Nepali citizenship.

Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested 5 people for providing citizenship to 10 Tibetan.

Police arrested Krishna Bahadur Katwal (resident of Kanchankawal, Jhapa), Neulkesh Shrestha(Babarmahal), Hiralal Shiwakoti (Morang Sundar Haraicha), Lopsang Thinley (Shuklagandaki, Tanahu), and Bijay Lama (Godavari, Lalitpur).

Katwal had been active in the periphery of the accounting law business since ten years old.

According to police, Katwal was found actively involved in the business without a license and registration.

Police found that Katwal along with the help of Shiwakoti had made fake citizenship, educational certificate, driving license, birth certificate, marriage registration, divorce, etc, and other illegal documentation work.
