NC Parliamentary Party Meeting; demand to form parliamentary inquiry committee unchanged

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to keep the demand unchanged for the formation of a parliamentary inquiry raised by the party on the cooperative embezzlement case.

Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak, said the parliamentary party meeting on Friday, confirmed the demand of the parliamentary inquiry committee. He said that it was their ‘bottom line’.

NC distributes Rabi Lamichhane’s investigation report

Lekhak said if the demands are not met, the government would be responsible if the house session is affected. He didn’t clarify whether Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane was allowed to speak or not in the house session.
