NC distributes Rabi Lamichhane’s investigation report

Kathmandu: The main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) has distributed its members of parliament (MPs)  Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane police investigation report.

On the direction of the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, the police report on Home Minister Lamichhane was distributed in the parliamentary meeting on Friday at New Baneshwor. President Deuba suggested MPs to have an opinion and take a stance on the matter.

Likewise, the details of taking 20 million (2 crores) rupees from Supreme Cooperative, Rupandehi were made public. The police have released a report of a cooperative embezzlement case, where Lamichhane’s name was only included.

NC decided to allow Lamichhane to speak in parliament sessions as Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson, but not as Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister.
