Cabinet Meeting to begin at 2:00 p.m.

Kathmandu: The meeting of the cabinet will be held on Thursday.

The meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. The government has prepared to recommend calling the budget session of the federal parliament.

After the completion of the winter convention on 12 April 2024 (Chaitra 30, 2080), the government prepared a recommendation for convening the budget session.

Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, said the winter convention is secluded to be convened on 7 May (Baishakh 25, 2081). There is a constitutional provision that the government should bring next year’s budget on 28 May (Jeshta 15).

Before that, the government would bring its policies and programs.
