CPN (Unified Socialist) Sodari submits claim to be Sudurpaschim Chief Minister

Kathmandu: CPN(Unified Socialist) Dirgha Prasad Sodari has submitted a claim to be Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province.

Sodari submitted a claim on Thursday, with support from the CPN(Unified Socialist), CPN(UML), CPN(Maoist Centre), and Nagarik Unmukti Party.

Previously, Sodari was stopped from submitting a claim, due to a lack of support from CPN(UML). CPN(UML) was in a stance of not supporting Sodari as Chief Minister on Wednesday.

CPN(UML) parliamentary leader Rajendra Rawal on Thursday, gave Sodari a letter of support to be Chief Minister. Sodari submitted a claim to Province Chief Nazir Miya, as Province Chief Miya for the submission of claim had given time till 5:00 p.m.
