CPN (Unified Socialist) withdraws its support given to Laxman Kishore Chaudhary

Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist) has withdrawn its support, given to the Nagarik Unmukti Party’s candidate Laxman Chaudhary, for the Chief Minister of the Sudurpaschim Province.

CPN (Unified Socialist) leader Dirga Bahadur Sodari submitted a letter to the Province Chief Najir Miya on Tuesday. The letter mentioned that the party withdrew its support given to the province assembly member Chaudhary; who belongs to the Resham Chaudhary faction of Nagarik Unmukti.

Previously, CPN (Unified Socialist) supported the alternative coalition, formed by the Nepali Congress, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), and Nagarik Unmukti Party’s Resham Chaudhary faction.

Likewise, Kailash Chaudhary, from the Nagarik Unmukti Party’s Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha Chaudhary faction, also submitted his claim for the Chief Minister of the Province.

CPN (Unified Socilialst), which is also a member of the central coalition, had supported Laxman Kishor Chaudhary rather than Kailash Chaudhary.
