Hamas-Israel Conflict: Hamas positive response to new ceasefire

Kathmandu: Hamas has responded positively toward the resolution prepared at the initiative of the international community for the new ceasefire in Gaza.

According to BBC, Hamas has shown a positive response to a report prepared by the international community. However, the agreement details prepared by Israel, the USA, Qatar, and Egypt have not been made public.

Both sides need to exchange the hostages, during the ceasefire. It has been said that Israel and the USA are reviewing Hamas’s opinion.

Likewise, USA Secretary of State Antony Blinken who is currently on an official visit in the Middle East, will discuss those matters with the Israel Official on Wednesday.

Hamas responded positively to the proposal for a ceasefire on Tuesday. The proposal for a ceasefire was sent a week ago.
