Kathmandu: The staging of the drama ‘Aadha Adalat’ has begun at Mandala Theatre, Thapagaun.
‘Aadha Adalat’ attempts to highlight the subject of the journey towards the conclusion being difficult to accomplish without avoiding bias. Also, the drama advocates for the innocent not to be punished and the guilty not to be escaped.
Suresh Sapkota translated the Indian writer Basu Chatterjee’s ‘Ruka Hua Ek Faisla’ drama into the Nepali language. Umesh Tamang has taken responsibility for the lighting and Agni Bishwakarma composed the music for the drama ‘Aadha Adalat.’

Aarati Gautam, Bishal Kumar KC, Aksha Maden, Ganesh Prasad Paudel, Laxmi Poudel, Milan Bahadur Khadka, Muna Shah Sonar, Pinky Bohara, Shasmil Pun Magar, Sumitra Bogati, Tulsi Darji, Tritharaj Bishwakarma are actors of the drama.
The drama began on 21 May 2024( Jestha, 8, 2081). 2nd Batch Students of Mandala Drama School acted in the drama. Theatre artist Som Nath Khanal is the director of the drama. The drama will be staged every day at 4: 00 p.m. and will run till 25 May (Jesthaa 12).
