Kathmandu: Pragya Kunja School has commenced a 5-day theatre week at Shilpee Theatre, Battisputali.
According to the School’s Theatre Director and Writer Tanka Chaulagain, 15 plays will be staged which have been directed by 5 Artists. The drama began on 13 May (Baishak 31, 2081).
The students from grades 4 to 10 have acted in the plays. Each day 3 plays will be staged.
‘Kalu and Baagh’, ‘Sani and Pari’, ‘Imandaar Daure’, ‘Ujyalo Tira’, ‘Chocolate’, ‘Khelne Bela Khelchaun, Padne Bela Padchaun’, ‘Hirako Bhoto’, ‘Shrawan Kumar ko Katha’, ‘The Finish Line’, ‘Shishir Basanta’, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Phul Ko Bhasa’, ‘Dukhi Rajkumari’, ‘Paapbridi Dharmabridi’ are the dramas for the theatre week.

Likewise, Tanka Chaulagain, Pratik Dulal, Bijaya Karki, Bijay Nepal, and Bansari Pandey have directed the dramas. The drama Khelne Bela Khelchaun, Padne Bela Padchaun, Chocolate, and Ujyalo Tira was staged on the first day of the theatre week.
The dramas will be staged every day at 5:00 p.m. The theatre week will conclude on 17 May (Jestha 4, 2081).
