Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has said that all decisions made by the Constitutional Council should be made unanimously.
Addressing the discussion regarding the bill to amend the Constitutional Council (Works, Duties, Powers and Procedure) 2066 Act in the meeting of the State Order and Good Governance Committee on Wednesday, Home Minister Lamichhane commented upon the decisions of the Constitutional Council.
Home Minister Lamichhane said that it should be made mandatory for all members to attend the meeting of the Constitutional Council. He said that the bill must decide the respective action regarding the absentees in the meeting.
Likewise, Minister Lamichhane said that the bill was not passed as the committee failed to convince the members for an agreement regarding the dissatisfactory points of the bill.
