RSP: Nepali Congress allows Home Minister Lamichhane to speak in Parliament

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar has said that the Nepali Congress (NC) agreed to allow Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane to speak in the parliament.

After the meeting called by the Speaker Devraj Ghimire for smooth conduct of the upcoming house session on Tuesday, Chief Whip Pariyar informed the media that the Nepali Congress reached the point of allowing the Home Minister to speak in the parliament.

Earlier, NC obstructed Home Minister Lamichhane from going to the podium. The NC demanded to form a high-level parliamentary inquiry committee against Home Minister Lamichhane by claiming him to be involved in a cooperative embezzlement case.
