JSP Chairperson Yadav calls his remaining members for meeting

Kathmandu: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has called its remaining members for discussion.

JSP Chairperson Upendra Yadav called the Member of Parliament (MP) of its party for discussion, after returning from the USA. There are only 5 MPs from JSP including, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Yadav.

The party’s Spokesperson Manish Suman said the meeting would discuss the party’s future strategy and the situation of the party after the split and support regarding the government.

Likewise, Yadav said it would not stop the convention, as the party already decided the date for the convention. JSP decided to hold a convention on 10 June 2024 (Jestha 28,2081) at Janakpur.

Spokesperson Suman said the main agenda of Tuesday’s meeting is the split of the party and the convention. According to him, the role of the Election Commission would also be discussed.

7 members out of 12 left the party on Sunday, while Yadav was in the USA visit. Under the leadership of Ashok Rai, the new party Janata Samajwadi Party, has been registered with the Election Commission.
